Trust, in plain language
We show our work.
A Belgian address is not the same as Belgian production. Every listing gets a specific verdict, evidence and a review date.
Made in Belgium
The physical product is produced or substantially transformed in Belgium.

An open-source product created or substantially maintained from Belgium.
4 listings →Evidence standard
Primary sources first.
We prefer official producer pages, company records, public repositories and explicit manufacturing statements. Search snippets and editorial lists can point us somewhere, but they do not earn a verdict on their own.
Each entry records the evidence URL, why it supports the verdict and when it was checked.
Leads that stay leads
Selling here is not making here.
Commerce sources — Shopify storefront data, a Belgian shipping origin, a merchant address — help us find candidates. They never earn a verdict, because they establish who is selling rather than who made, owns, designed or maintains a product.
Candidates we cannot verify are not dropped and not quietly promoted. They go to a separate section with no verdict, listing what the seller record proves, what it does not, and which source is still missing.

Origin can change.
Factories move. Companies are acquired. Teams become distributed. When better evidence appears, the listing should change visibly instead of preserving a comfortable story.
